For students who are new to playing a bowed string instrument. Members of this ensemble will have the opportunity to learn introductory skills on violin, viola, cello, or bass.
For students who have played a bowed string instrument. Members of this ensemble will continue to develop techniques on their respective instrument. This ensemble performs at regularly scheduled concert performances and will play music graded 1-2.5
Students who have not played in the last school year are subject to a brief audition process.
For students who wish to continue to develop musical proficiency on their respective instrument. This ensemble performs at regularly scheduled concert performances and will play music graded 2.5-3.5
Students who have not played in the last school year are subject to a brief audition process.
Membership in this ensemble is through audition only. This ensemble performs at regularly scheduled concert performances and will play music graded 3 and above.
Membership in this group is limited to the principal players of Chamber Orchestra. Our Wildcat String Quartet performs at events that require a more intimate setting.

Membership in this ensemble is required for all students enrolled in Advanced or Chamber Orchestra. This ensemble performs at regularly scheduled concert performances and other events throughout the year. Weekly after school sectionals and rehearsals will be required.
The Wildcat Symphony Orchestra contains all students of the Symphonic Orchestra and select members of our LVHS Wind Symphony. Weekly after school sectionals and rehearsals will be required.
