LVHS Orchestra earns superior rating at 2023 CCSD Advanced Orchestra Festival

Every year, all advanced level performing groups in the Clark County School District attends their respective festival. At this event, all performers are assessed, scored, and given feedback on the quality of the performance. For the second year in a row, Las Vegas High School earned a superior rating from all three judges in attendance! Their program consisted of Symphony No. 8 “Unfinished” an arrangement of Franz Schubert by Robert D. McCashin, Deep River an African American Spiritual arranged by Carrie Lane Gruselle, and The Emerald Falcon by Richard Meyer.
